Artist Information

Bob Sima is an award-winning singer-songwriter, formerly from DC/Maryland now a resident of Rockledge FL is back at Rams Head On Stage for his 13th visit. He won Rams Head Rammie Award in 2013 voted “Show of the Year”. He has toured nationally for the past 15 years releasing 10 albums of rich message-based music. Being described as “conscious” music, Bob leans into topics of depth, meaning, and awareness in his music. He sees the music as a tool (medicine) rather than solely entertainment. These songs are not for the passive listener. Despite his alternative path to writing, his songs tend to be very relatable, as he makes instant connections with his fans through his percussive guitar work and compelling lyrics.

He has received many songwriting awards across multiple genres and communities including; Grand Prize Winner-Wildflower Texas Songwriting Contest, Kerrville NewFolk 2 Time Finalist, Finalist Mountain Stage Live Round, American Songwriter Magazine Contest Finalist, Global Peace Song Contest Winner, and 6 time Positive Music Award Winner, among others.

He has shared the stage with (and has been compared to) Trevor Hall, Nahko and Medicine for the People and Matisyahu. With his spiritually-intelligent music he crosses many genres always staying within the field of higher consciousness and inner work. He has also shared the stage with 2 presidential candidates, many luminaries in the field of personal development, and credits Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle and Ram Dass for much of his personal work that leads to the development of his songs.

His live performances are an experience. He doesn’t make a setlist and works in the moment. His songs are hypnotic at times, going energetically from foot-stomp to pin-drop. He engages the audience, and it’s likely to lift anyone out of a funk who steps into one of his shows

Bob and his wife Shannon Plummer travel and perform as a musical duo and also operate a non-profit called Where The Light Gets In, charged with getting conscious music to places it is needed the most. They also offer experiential retreats to Mexico.

“He is a treasure to discover, he won’t remain undiscovered for long”. Columbia Times “Bob is picking up where John Lennon left off.” Americana Community Music Association
