The Sergio Mendes Band Returns to Celebrate 60 Years of Brasil ’66 and the Joyful Legacy of Brazilian Music.

Mendes's wife, Gracinha Leporace, is at center stage with The Sergio Mendes Band as bandleader and lead singer. This year marks 60 years since the worldwide debut of the celebrated album “Herb Alpert Presents Sergio Mendes & Brasil ’66” and the band Sergio Mendes & Brasil ’66 - which Leporace joined at age 18, recognized by Mendes for her extraordinary vocals.
